The Judo World Championships held in Rio de Janeiro have just finished and, like any other fan, we’ve followed them closely. Here are some thoughts.
Kintaro Yamamoto, 4th Dan (Tenri University) closes the event Sarnano brilliantly whilst Judo Master Corrado Croceri then thanks the visiting experts Katanishi, Hirano, Kintaro Yamamoto as well as the attendees.
Yoshiyuki Hirano, 5th Dan (Tenri University) and Judo Master Hiroshi Katanishi, 7th Dan close the last morning session and re-energises the tired attendees.
Corrado Croceri 6th Dan (many time Italian Champion in the 1970s) knows how to engage the attendees and is applauded for his warm-up.
Hiroshi Katanishi 7th Dan (Tenri University) amazing as always, brilliant as never before.

Yoshiyuki Hirano – perfect in his technical and didactic presentation. He reminds us of the importance of etiquette in “Randori”.
Generous as ever, Hiroshi Katanishi knows how to enthuse with his demonstrations and primed them for Randori despite everyone feeling a little tired.
