(Judo Master – International – Multiple Champion of Italy in the 70s)
The Master practiced high-level Judo and specialized in Training with the aim of giving Judo its Educational, Social and Cultural Value, the only possibility of redemption of Judo: “An illustrious Unknown”.

PROGRAM
The fundamentals of Judo Kodokan by Prof. Jigoro Kano the use correct of the basic exercises, the right proportion between the Nage waza and Katame waza.
In Kokushi magazine (N° 24) published in 1900 J. Kano writes:
- For the Shodan degree: (1° Dan) and for the lower grades the practice of Nage waza must occupy the 70/80% of time while for the practice of Katame waza the 20/30%
- For degrees higher than: (1° Dan), the Nage waza must occupy the 60/70% of time while for the practice of Katame waza the 30/40%

PRACTICAL LESSON
Technique and Didactics:
Warm-up with Basic Exercises:
Shisei / Shintai / Tai sabaki
The right position of (Shizentai) and correct movements of the body in (Tai sabaki – Ayumi ashi Tsugi ashi – Mae mawari sabaki, Ushiro mawari sabaki).
Nage waza:
Didactic Progression of the Principles of Action in Throwing Techniques: “Technical Form – Opportunity, (Time / Space).
Theory and Practice: issue of how and why it is necessary to give precedence to the study of the principle underlying the technical solution in learning Nage waza, (Especially Tachi waza).

Ukemi waza: Skill in breakfalls techniques: Didactic Progression on the shape and application of: Ushiro / Yoko / Mae mawari ukemi
Nage waza: Theory and Practice – Methodology applied to Learning Throwing Techniques from a standing position (Tachi waza).
Randori: Exercises and Didactic Progressions (Tandoku renshu – Sotai renshu – Uchikomi – Nage komi – Kakari geiko) to learn the correct use of the main exercise of the Judo KDK: “Randori”.
Tuesday 03 January

PRACTICAL LESSON
Nage waza: Theory and practice – methodology applied to learning throwing techniques from a standing position – (Tachi waza).
Didactic progression on breaking of position.
- Kuzushi – Destroy the position of Uke (Eight-way imbalance – Happo no Kuzushi),
- Tsukuri – Rebuild the ideal body position of Tori and Uke to perform the throw (to project).
- Kake – Final position that allows the application of throw techniques after breaking the opponent’s balance.
Ashi waza: Didactic progression
Afternoon
Time 17:00 / 19:00
PRACTICAL LESSON
Nage waza: Theory and practice – methodology applied to learning throwing techniques from a standing position – (Tachi waza).
Didactic progression on moving back and forth (Shintai) with both the right and left foot as well as the ability to rotate (Tai sabaki).
The importance of using Tsugi ashi and finally on the control of the technical gesture up to the application of throw techniques (Zanshin).

PRACTICAL LESSON
How to study the “Randori”.
Es. di Randori no Kata and Shiken Shobu no Kata:
What is it – How and Why Kata is used for complete training of the aspiring Judoka?
How the practical application of the reference model (Kata) restores balance to Randori?
Each Kata has different goals:
For the Shiai: Nage – Katame – Kime no Kata
For aesthetics: Ju no Kata / Koshiki no Kata.

PRACTICAL LESSON
Didactic progression on the theme of defense techniques Go – Chowa – Yawara (Bogyo no waza) system for learning combinations of techniques.
Technique and Didactics:
Es. Sotai Renshu on the three forms of defense Go – Chowa – Yawara e Renraku waza study of classical combinations.
Renraku waza – Didactic progression.
Kakari geiko – An ideal exercise for learning the various combinations of techniques.
Thursday 05 January

Kaeshi waza – Alias: Attack first, Attack during Attack after the importance of welcoming the attack initiative of Tori to exploit in your favor.
Didactic progression on the theme of counterattacks.

PRACTICAL LESSON
Katame waza: In Kodokan Competitions, Ne waza was not used generally:
The Kodokan began increasing the study of control techniques in 1900.
In 1914 Kosen Judo within the Tokyo Imperial University reached an excellent level.
Technical and Didactic Methodology:
Katame waza / Ne waza: Es. Osae waza – Shime Waza – Kansetsu waza
PLEASE NOTE: the Program can be modified according to the technical level of the participants.
INFORMATIONS
Should we reach a higher number we will move to a larger structure that we will communicate to you in due time.
The minimum recommended Judo level is 3rd Kyu (green belt).
For organizational reasons, given the small number of places available, due to a Tatami of 88 square meters, registrations that arrive after the fixed date of Thursday 29 December 2022 will be accepted only in case of availability of places.
The cancellation of the reservation at Judo Winter Camp 2023 must be communicated 5 days before the arrival date, in this case 50% of the amount paid in advance will be returned.
Further possibilities can be decided and agreed between the Teacher or Parents with the Technical Director of the Winter Camp: Mr. Corrado Croceri.

BOARD AND LODGING
Each member can organize itself as it sees fit with regard to the accommodation and food during the Judo Winter Camp and the reservation of the hotel have to be done by the partecipant.
The organization with regard to food (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) during the period of stay of the Judo Winter Camp has organized a meal service for up to 30 people the meal fee is 30,00 € per day.
